Farming
At Bahage Foods Ltd, we make sure that all the products we send to our clients are fresh. This is why we use our own farms to get the best of our horticulture products. We use responsible farming techniques and always make sure that the seeds’ selection brings out the best of crops for our clients.
In addition to that, we work with different out-growers. They provide us with products that meet the high standards that we set for our clients’ delivery. To make sure they do, we train them with our own farmers. We also let them take part in the quality assurance tests at every crop selection (seeds and harvest).
Export
We export horticulture products from Rwanda to different sides of the world. Bahage Foods Ltd works with different firms in Europe (France, Belgium, Netherland, German and soon in Italy and Portugal) and in the Middle East (UAE, Oman, and Qatar) to provide them with our different range of fruits and vegetables. We partner with NAEB to make sure we keep the products to a high standard. In addition to crop selection, with the help of NAEB, we are given support in the storing of high quantities before Exports.
Our biggest pride is also the timely delivery to our clients. We make sure every process from order to delivery is made smoothly and very quickly. Our staff also makes sure that the communication of every process works as perfectly as possible.
Peeled Green Bananas
We are introducing to the market a new product: peeled green bananas. It will be a package of a very nutritious goods but a revolutionary and very practical product. It is meant to be a solution to people who love green bananas while removing the discomfort and the difficulties brought by peeling them or storing them.
Green bananas are very rich in in fibers, Potassium, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin C. All these nutrients are very essential in the body. That is why green bananas are some of the foods that keep getting recommended as part of a balanced diet for people of all age groups.
“Peeled green bananas” are a product that will be good not for their dietary and practical uses for the users only. Their production is projected to create more than 400 Jobs.
